Chozen’Afitra is one of the dubbing artists repping Nu Nairobi and influencing the culture in the 254.
Based in the city under the sun ‘Nairobi’ or better known as ‘Nairo’ or ‘Nairoberry’ the UoN engineering graduate has been holding it down doubling up as a Producer as well as a Rapper not forgetting a Song Writer.‘
Music has always been my muse, and making music and writing killer rhymes has been therapeutic’. His love for beats started when he took up drumming back in his teens, and when he was done with High school, he got introduced to FL studio, and nothing has been the same.
He looks up to big acts in the industry like Travis Scott, 808 Mafia & in Kenya newly acclaimed stars like Jovie Jovv and Wakadinali.Chozen has done collaborations with Mush from the Bush, KJ, Y9a, Haze, D Tune, K_Izrael, Umaka Zirra, Bussa J, Oscar, Baba D, Sidi etc.
He’s also part of the PopCulture.Ke that have been organizing Chini Ya Miti, a series of events aiming to serve new,good & positive vibes & more urban culture to share with ones mates.
His style of music is African Ttrap which he has fused in his stage name moniker Chozen'Afitra.
He has performed 4 tracks in LWKY. i.e Mellow, Win Now & Weka Tot Ft Y9a, & lastly Choma Upate Uhai.
